Instructions for presenters

If you have been invited to give an oral presentation or a speed talk and poster presentation at the conference, please see the instructions below.

Oral presentation

The length of the oral presentation is 15 minutes, plus five minutes at the end reserved for questions and answers. You can prepare a PowerPoint presentation, which you can send to the organisers beforehand at castle(at), or bring on a flashdrive at the registration desk.

Poster and speed talk

The poster must be of size A1 (594 x 841 mm; 23.4 x 33.1 in). The conference venue has poster boards, onto which the posters are pinned; no frames or hangers are needed.The posters are available for the audience to see at a poster session on the same day at 18:00-19:30. Please bring your poster at the conference registration by 9:00 in the morning.

The speed talks take place at the end of each scientific session. The maximum length is one minute, with one PowerPoint slide, which you should submit to the organisers beforehand. More information on deadlines and submission will follow.

Extended abstracts

The authors who have been invited to give an oral presentation or a speed talk and poster, are welcome to submit an extended abstract. The extended abstracts are compiled into an online conference publication. Please use the template provided here. Do not change the font, font size or margins of the template, or exceed the two-page length limit. The deadline for submitting the extended abstract is 30 September.
